Mitigate Effects of Water Damage in Arcadia; Call for Immediate Repair

A burst pipe leading to flooding within the school can mean a free pass for students, but other than that, there’s not a lot to celebrate about this occurrence. For one, this means an interruption in the regular schedule, affecting not just the students but the faculty as well. Two, it means huge costs for repair, especially if the water damage is extensive. This was the very scenario that the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) had to suffer back in July. According to the report from BBC News, the faulty pipe—which sent as much as 20 million gallons of water into UCLA—was located on Sunset Boulevard, north of the campus.
