When people think about water damage, floods due to rains are usually what come to mind first. However, there are times when water damage in Arcadia and its surrounding areas can spring from the unlikeliest places. Over at the Burbank Fire Department training center recently, a water main broke that caused several thousand gallons of water to erupt from the ground. The rupture caused a sudden sinkhole to form and created a miniature lake twenty feet in diameter and three to four feet deep in the facility’s parking lot.
